Questions, answered
The things clients ask us most often. If yours is not here, we are happy to talk it through.
Are your engineers licensed?
Yes. Our team is made up of licensed Professional Engineers, and we hold licensure in Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, and Nebraska. Every set of construction documents we issue is stamped by the engineer of record.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Cheyenne and work throughout Wyoming, with active licensure and projects in Colorado, Montana, and Nebraska. If you are in the Rocky Mountain region and are not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.
What types of projects do you take on?
Commercial, industrial, agricultural, municipal, and residential. We handle everything from a residential addition to a multimillion-dollar infrastructure project, and we bring the same care to both.
Do you provide stamped drawings?
Yes. We issue PE-stamped drawings and calculations for permitting and construction across all of our disciplines.
Can you work alongside our architect or contractor?
Absolutely. We coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants regularly, and we are comfortable joining a project team that is already in motion.
How are your fees structured?
Most projects are fixed-fee, based on a scope we put in writing before design begins. Some ongoing or open-ended work is billed hourly. Either way, you will know the basis for the fee up front.
How long does design take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the project. A short scoping call gives us enough to put a realistic schedule in writing. Most design work runs from a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
Do you handle permitting?
Yes. Permitting and agency coordination are part of our project management service. We prepare the submittals, track the reviews, and respond to comments so approvals keep moving.
Do you take on small residential jobs?
We do. Additions, structural evaluations, and residential mechanical or site work are all in scope. A residential project gets the same dedicated engineer and clear scope as any other.
